Vaccination Policy

Southeastern Community College encourages students* to discuss the immunizations that are recommended by the American College Health Association with their healthcare provider and then decide whether or not they may want to be vaccinated.

Immunizations recommended by the American College Health Association: Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Tetanus (Td), Polio, Meningococcal Disease (Meningitis), Chicken Pox (Varicella), Hepatitis A,  Hepatitis B, Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV) (females only), Influenza, and Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine.

*Health professions students will be notified of health assessment and immunization requirements in their program handbook.
